SAGE OFFERS PR TRAINING.
Sage Software is offering education to resellers under its FastTrack program. Somebody thought it would be a good idea to offer instruction on public relations. Ninety-two VARs are signed up for something called “"Real PR Tips for Real People," led by somebody named Bob Scott from Accounting Technology. Peyton Burch of the Enterprise Resource Group and Manny Buigas of Axis Integrated Solutions are on the panel that will be offered at the Sage Insights reseller conference in May. Actually it's a good idea because many businesses, large and small, don't know how to handle the press. My advice has always been that press relationships are a matter of meeting client needs. Find out what the client's needs are, in this case the media, meet them to the extent you can, and you will succeed more often.
