COREVAULT PARTNERS WITH AXIS INTEGRATED
SOLUTIONS
Partnership Expands CoreVault’s online backup and
recovery services to Chicago, Miami, St. Louis, Kansas City &
the Caribbean
OKLAHOMA CITY, August 1, 2006 -- CoreVault™ announced today
that it has partnered with AXIS Integrated Solutions, a top professional
services firm specializing in business management solutions with
offices in Chicago, Kansas City, Miami and St. Louis. “AXIS
is a company that we are proud to partner with because of their
market presence and credibility as an organization in key markets,
“says James Rutherford, president of CoreVault.
AXIS Integrated Solutions (AXIS) is a business advisor, a systems
integrator and business solutions provider to the small and mid
market businesses. Industry awards include Technology Pacesetter
and Top 100 VAR by Accounting Technology. “Our partnership
with CoreVault will enable us to offer our clients a more reliable
method of backup and recovery of mission critical data that leverages
the latest technology. This was one of our strategic priorities
given that many of our clients are vulnerable to hurricanes in
coastal regions and the Caribbean, says Manny Buigas, CEO.
“CoreVault™ will be targeting businesses in Florida,
Illinois, Missouri, Kansas and throughout the Caribbean. Our partnership
with AXIS allows us to enter these markets in a greater way and
in a shorter time frame due to their large customer base and influence
in these markets and abroad,” said Rutherford.
“Market research indicates that a company’s data
storage needs will increase on average at a rate of 30-to-40 percent
annually. U.S. businesses will invest a staggering $66 billion
on maintaining and upgrading their data systems each year over
the next 5 years*. With the escalation of security threats from
hackers, terrorist attacks and natural disasters, security concerns
are very high, and this is complicated by state and federal mandates,
such as HIPAA and Homeland Security regulations, that make compliance
and management of critical data difficult for small to medium
size companies,” Rutherford said.
“Our online service allows companies to have a more reliable,
secure and automated process for backing up their data,”
Rutherford said. “Many companies have significant risk exposure
in this area. According to The Gartner Group, a nationally recognized
research firm, 34 percent of companies fail to test their backups,
and of those that do, 77 percent have found tape back up failures.”
“All of these reasons are what lead us to believe that
our products and services combined with AXIS customer base and
influence make for a great partnership. We are expecting great
things from this new relationship,” said Rutherford.
