How you can avoid the high cost of CRM failure

50-60% of CRM implementations fail, many of them due to absence of “best practices” protocols

New online CRM certification program significantly improves ROI rates and shows SMB’s, technology consultants and IT professionals how to maximize business-building potential of CRM technology and methodology

Miami, Florida – August , 2006 – Axis Integrated Solutions and the College of Business Administration at Florida International University today announced a strategic alliance for an online CRM certification program that enables small to medium-sized businesses (SMB’s), technology consultants and IT professionals to design a highly effective CRM strategy and implementation plan that delivers maximum ROI in the shortest possible time frame.

This first-of-its-kind online CRM certification program commences with the Fall 2006 session on October 2 with a registration deadline of October 16 (register at www.axisintegratedsolutions.com). Dates need to be updated. Manny. The program consists of eight modules that support the following learning objectives:

  • Module 1: Understanding CRM – Why do growth-oriented companies want CRM? Includes best practices of successful CRM initiatives.
  • Module 2: Identifying the impact of CRM – Corporate processes and culture will definitely be affected by a CRM implementation. Anticipating and proactively dealing with the effects of change to processes and culture is key to success.
  • Module 3: Preparing your CRM strategy – Evaluation and assessment tools are applied to determine a company’s commitment to its customers, its readiness to adopt a CRM system, and its strongest opportunities for success.
  • Module 4: Researching, segmenting and focusing on customers – What do customers want and need over the duration of their relationship with a specific business? How can CRM continue to improve customer experiences?
  • Module 5: Branding customer experience – Identify and prioritize customer-facing processes and learn how to customize processes to brand the customer experience.
  • Module 6: Integrating CRM requirements with technology – Use redesigned business processes as foundation for CRM technology selection and implementation.
  • Module 7: Measuring CRM business performance – Become proficient in applying best practice processes to select and measure the right business metrics.
  • Module 8: Implementing and organizing for CRM – Includes internal marketing campaign for CRM success, and identifying best practices in user training.

For the working professional, all eight modules can be completed in about 6 weeks. Modules are designed to be taken in sequential order, with each module requiring about 4 to 5 hours for completion. Throughout the program, participants will have ongoing online interactions with CRM and marketing faculty and experts from the Department of Marketing at Florida International University. They will serve as facilitators and CRM consultants. Participants will also have the opportunity to interact online with one another via message boards and real-time chat rooms, enabling them to share best practices and challenges.

Upon completing the program requirements, participants receive a certificate from the College of Business Administration at Florida International University.

“This new certificate program directly addresses recent statistics showing an approximate 50-60% failure rate of corporate CRM initiatives,” said Dr. Nancy Rauseo, a CRM specialist and instructor at Florida International University’s College of Business Administration. “Far too many businesses jump into the adoption of CRM without a sound strategy and implementation plan. These critical path tools are precisely what participants will take away from the certification program.”

"Every client wants CRM, but only one in10 is actually ready to benefit,” said Manny Buigas, a principal at AXIS who has personally overseen numerous CRM implementations in medium-sized businesses. “With this new online curriculum, that number can feasibly jump to nine out of 10 businesses ready to benefit from CRM. I only wish this had been available five years ago when I first entered the CRM arena.”
